Riders of the Sage is a truly remarkable place, with a keen insightful & observant Jane Davis @ the reins. I had excited, high expectations going in & I yet, I was even more moved than I could imagine. Seeing ourselves, our struggles & energies mirrored back through gifted horses, brought me home, brought me peace & a desire to do more interactions with Snickers & Jane (& Fred). As a group, a family, a couple or an individual, you can consider yourself lucky & blessed to become a 'Rider of the Sage.' Thank you.♡♡♡

Jane and Snickers have a lot to offer with equine-assisted healing. Horses can teach us so much, if we are open to learning, but it's important to have a good facilitator that can provide the setting and feedback to make the most of the interaction with the horse. Riders of the Sage does that very well. Great program - horses and the people, too :)
After meeting Jane Davis on Facebook (we have numerous mutual friends) I decided to visit Riders of the Sage to meet her and Snickers. It was totally heartwarming! Jane is a perceptive equine therapist, catching subtle reactions (I didn't realize that I had been holding my breath while leading Snickers around the paddock!). I groomed Snickers and we bonded easily...she wouldn't let me leave until I came back to give her a goodbye hug! What a sweet horse! I highly recommend a 'get acquainted' visit!!!

What a wonderful experience sharing the official ribbon cutting ceremony with my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter, Lili. Snickers was so calm and peaceful, that Lili didn't hesitate to go into the corral to pet her. It is easy to see how Snickers has a very calming affect. Thanks for inviting us, we had an extremely great time ~!~
