I want to add that I have personally experienced the exact same problems. These companies make more money by sending out their own contracted drivers instead of using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft—even when the insurance company tells us that rideshare is an option. It would be wonderful of they showed up on time or even at all!!! Sooo many late or missed appointments; so many rides I took on my own with Uber
