Horrible Support; Staff is nice but only knows the script they are told. Escalation Paths are non-existent. Driver Arrival Estimations are extremely inaccurate. Drivers seem overworked or just dont care. What a joke of a service provider. Telling my insurance to remove them as a service provider.
The patient was not even allowed to be seen for their appointment, yet the transportation company still billed for the trip. It was heartbreaking to witness this kind of behavior. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect—not rushed or denied the opportunity to receive the care they need. During the incident, the driver was yelling, and I observed the patient begin shaking noticeably. It was distressing to watch someone who was already vulnerable become even more frightened by the situation. I al... read more

I believe Medicaid should carefully review its relationship with this company. If experiences like this are not reported, they may continue to affect other patients and families. I had a very disappointing experience with Ride2MD/Trip2 Medical Transportation. The crew brought a non-verbal patient to the hospital and immediately began complaining about how long it was taking to get her checked in. They insisted that the patient be transferred off their stretcher in the waiting room instead of allowing the normal intake process to occur. The most upsetting part was that they refused to allow the patient to complete her scheduled testing because they felt the wait was too long—even though it was only a... read more
The best aspect of Ride 2 MD is their flexibility. Other transport companies maintain hard 48-hour advance booking rules and a friend’s transport (through Humana) has a firm, no exceptions 3-day advance booking requirement. In contrast, Ride 2 MD is the only company I’ve experienced that goes out of their way to book out-of-window rides, even same day if possible. My service area is Orlando, supported in Miami. It’s true a majority of drivers are hispanic, but rides are plotted in GPS, which makes a language barrier moot. ... read more
Worse service ever. The employees lie to patients, they think is a funny game when you call fir service. Would not recommend.
Negative 10 if possible. This company is an insult to elderly Medicare patients who are required by their insurance carriers to use them. Horrible service and already customer service. Didn't expect an English spelling rep. Late or no shows, followed by how long calls and hang ups to get the ride. Excessive wait times over 90 minutes. This company does not care about elderly patients and should be avoided if possible.
Where to start?! First, he was late showing up, van was too big for us to get into. I’m 80 and husband is almost 92. The step up was too high into the vehicleand we both would have fallen getting in if not for the driver holding our backs. Next, the driver proceeded to go the wrong direction. I tried to explain it but it wasn’t getting through. I asked if he spoke English and he said NO.. okayyy. Tried explaining he was going wrong way but GPS was put in as wrong destination, As he was trying to figure it out, he came to a ... read more
I want to add that I have personally experienced the exact same problems. These companies make more money by sending out their own contracted drivers instead of using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft—even when the insurance company tells us that rideshare is an option. That is simply not true. It’s misleading. The truth is this: If they send a rideshare service, it is cheaper and faster. But if they send their own drivers, they can charge the insurance company hourly rates, fuel, miles, wait time, and travel time—which ... read more
