I used to like Ricks at their old location and the new place is neat but the staff was Very rude and unfriendly. Wouldn't hurt to be pleasant if you expect people to come back. I see that there are other reviews about the unpleasant staff also
Second review but I just tried your Pecan Pie the other day and it was OFF THE HOOK, so good I got two slices. Love your guys spot UGH <3
A popular mid-town destination, its nice that there is more room in their new J street location. Their increase in business hasn't affected the quality of their desserts - my favorite is the Napoleon. All real ingredients here: perfect custard between layers of thin pastery topped with caramel drizzle. I'll get in line any day for this.
I have been going to Ricks since it opened at their original location. I keep coming back!
Cake is always a hit. Pumpkin spice latte not so much. I'll always return for the cake. Next time I'll just opt for the free h2o.
