We always have a great time at Rickey's. The lamb was perfect and Wagyu beef, mushroom, and black truffles was better. Alex and all the wait staff were professional and personable at the same time. Cocktails from the bar were exactly right. A memorable dining experience to celebrate our anniversary (34). Join the club and bring the family.
Service was terrible... Waiter brought wine glasses, opened the bottle of wine, then walked away.....excuse me sir I think protocol calls for you to pour the wine... Nobody cleared any of our dirty dishes thru any of our courses And unbelievably, no one came to the table any any point to ask if we needed anything or how the meal was going. Not going back
My family had 5:30pm Thanksgiving dinner reservations and we didn't finish until 8:45pm. Service was terrible. Dinner should not take over 3 hours. Waited forever for the salad, main entree and dessert. I ordered a medium filet mignon and I got a rare filet mignon. I was afraid to tell the waiter of my undercooked steak for fear that it would take another 30 minutes till I got it back.
Our favorite close by, go to. Sit out at the pool, hear music outside , sometimes inside. Always awesome food. Have had many holiday brunches here. Grass field and sky chairs , our kids have used for years!! Always good service! Lately the soups have been even more mouth watering. I love a good soup and salad. Ceasar salad is great... more lemony and garlicky, than anchovy . The split pea I could of had 5 bowls and the vegetable lentil, recently yum! I don't really care for purée soup. The food was fantastic. The ambiance was nice. The service was impeccable. And the prices were wonderful. We have been driving by there for 20 years and finally stopped in for dinner. We have decided we will now start being regulars. And we live in Napa but the drive is worth it.
