The homes are thrown together. There is settling, defective fixtures and plumbing. They will tell you they will come out to view the defects and then never show. They lie and lead you on until you are so frustrated you hire a private contractor. I am going to sue them over the problems. NEVER buy a Richmond American home. You will be sorry if you do!!!!Also google problems with roofs leaks in Tucson and talk to Ross @ 520-744-7250. Richmond screwed over hundreds of people with leaking and improperly installed roofs.

The homes are build well. The warranty department is the worst I have ever dealt with in a long time. Requests for repairs have taken over four (4) months to be completed. Some are still ongoing. They do fix legitimate repairs though just be prepared to wait for things to be fixed. They have downsized the warranty people and due to that the good ones quit then they have to go thru Denver (Corporate) for any repair over \$250.00. Yep labor costs are more than that.Again - nice home. Horrible warranty department.
