If I could rate any lower, I would. We have a contract with them that doesn't run out with them for several months, unfortunately. We are supposed to be charged $59 a month, but they just charged us $83. My husband has called several times and has left several messages with the owner. They have the worst customer service ever! That is a failing business model, if you ask me. It is only a matter of time until this place goes under.

Joined in November 2010. LOVED IT. Went to cycling class two to three times a week. Lifted while enjoying classic rock. Really dug the whole experience. About a year later, the RAC started its decline into its present state. Their cycles fell apart and they did not replace them, instead they just cancelled all cycling courses and said too bad. I left this gym after 4 years of joining. When I asked about what I needed to do to end my memebership not once was I asked why I was leaving. I was told that I had to give written notice 30 days in advance. I did what I was asked. My notice clearly stated my last day at the gym along with my last payment. That was June 30th. I was debited for the month of July out of my checking account. I first responded with email I got no reply. I was a member of this gym until about 4 months ago. I joined the Jewish Community Center as the JCC had more modern equipment, better maintained facilities, and a pool. When I called the RAC to cancel I was told I would have to come in and sign a form to do this - in person. My time is valuable. Why should I have to come in to sign a form when I can verify my identity, and intent to cancel, over the phone? How very 1900's!
