Took my old singer for repair, same machine they repaired four years previously. Same plastic gear that stripped. Was told they could not do the repair this time without drilling a hole in the casing (this was not done on the first repair) And that it would cost more than the machine was worth. I should buy a new one. The replacement gear is $20 on eBay and my brother put it in. Still enjoying my great grandmother's machine, and the $400 for the suggested replacement model paid other things.

Richland Sewing Center is great! You always feel welcomed when you walk in the door. It's the only place I have my machine serviced. Wonderful classes and they have everything under the sun! Great job everyone!
This is a family owned business, the staff is very friendly. Love the way they teach the classes. They always make sure you understand everything before you leave the store. I will always continue to take classes from them. They offer any type of sewing classes. Thank you very much for everything that you all have done, I have learned a lot from y'all.

I'm having a blast taking the Learn to Quilt Class. I'm in awe of all the beautiful things people make and hope someday I'll be doing it myself. Jeannie is a great teacher!
Best place in the Metroplex to find knowledgable staff, lots of great class on a wide variety of sewing, embroidery, and quilting techniques. You will meet lots of interesting people of various levels of sewing that you can learn from and share with to enhance your love of your art. You will find beautiful fabrics, lots of supplies, machines and patterns and lots of fun! Don't forget to say hello to the store mascot, Snickers!
