good food this place has good food but last time i went food took a very very long time to get to my table and an employee was cleaning a table next to us and sprayed too much table cleaner all over the place it was a very strong smell and ruined or expierence there PROS: good food CONS: bad experienece

Great Breakfast Richies Real american Diner has a great breakfast and hot coffee. The prices are ok. The service is good.
50's style This diner has good food. We have gone for breakfast and dinner. Both are equally large portions and good prices. The inside is all 50's decor and they even have reall BBQ outside.

had been going for some years now. I'm a person color and wooly hair. today me and my mother was treated as second class citizens. the place was nearly full. we were the only wooly hair people of color. there was people behind us entering. They took us to be seated and refused us the one clean table/both, that was available. telling us they wanted it for a bigger party after us. and we'd have to wait. Our family loves this place. We almost went somewhere else but my kid insisted on Richies lol. Can’t say no to that.
The food is wonderful. Been going for years. The tri tip and ribeye steaks are🔥 but I especially go for the banana splits (the best ones in the high desert!!). This is a regular on my summer camp calendar and I take my daycare kids every summer at least 2-3 times for their buy one, get one free banana splits. They're the real deal, delicious!!😋 (I do agree there is too much breading on the onion rings but I like the size of the onions)
