old favorite – RICHARDSONS IS STILL AS POPULAR AS IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO, AND TODAY, IT IS EVEN MORE OF HANGOUT AND AS MY BROTHER CALLS IT"A PLACE TO PICK UP HOT CHICKS". I REMEMBER COMING HERE AFTER A LONG DAY AT THE BEACH, BRINGING THAT SAME BROTHER, WHO WAS 2 AT THE TIME, TO SEE THE COWS. I GUESS YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD FOR THIS PLACE- GREAT ICE CREAM, GOLF RANGE FOR THE "OLD FOLKS" AND A BIG PARKING LOT FOR THE TEENAGERS TO CHECK EACH OTHER OUT ! THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS :)
I LOVE RICHARSONS – I have been to many ice cream spots in MA, but none compare to Richardsons. There ice cream is so good I buy in bulk whenever I can. In fact a lot of places that are not Richardson's are now starting to sell Richardson's, and they are advertising it!! We are lucky to have such a clean, well run ice cream establishment in this area. Me and my family love to see the cows out back, thats fresh ices cream for ya!!!
Ice Cream Heaven – Best Ice Cream in New England. I am very picky with Ice Cream venues, for I used to work in one. However, this place runs a good ship. I like how the area is spotless, despite the high volumes of business. The service was friendly and efficient. And to top it all off, the ice cream was fantastic. I had the mint paddy, while my friend B. Lamonica had a Banana Split. You sure get a lot of ice cream, I'll tell you that. Richardson's Ice Cream, you'll see us again. Yum.
The Best Around – Richardson's Ice Cream is the best ice cream around. I have never had such freindly service anywhere. Their ice cream is second to none. My kids love it. They are the best. thank god for Richardsons
Come early and often – I found Richardson's to be a nice to visit but was a little disappointed in the ice cream. It was probably just a case of some flavors are better than others but I was still let down a bit. The toll house and mocha chip were not that great. I did however enjoy Maine black bear.
Behind the lines – Ice cream is great! But lines at Middleton store are long and service is kaotic. Kids serving ice cream are more intersted in chatting with co workers that providing prompt service. Parking lot is a nightmare. Lucky no one has been hit by cars moving in and out. I prefer to buy Richardson's ice cream at a different vender -- Blue Cow in Andover or Cedarland in Haverhill.
EXTRAORDINARY – The ice cream, yogurt, fat free yogurt.... all great... the portions are hugh.... the flavors limitless.... and they have a great staff every summer.... they are helpful and courteous... and that's saying a lot for the size of some of the long lines in the summer..... Though they do have multiple windows... and right next store is the mini golf course.. and driving range.... great for a summer night.... of course... sometimes the smell of the cows can get to you... but it's worth it for the freshness.......
yummy and fun – Great made-on-the premises ice cream. Great place for 'city kids' to see a few tame farm animals. Can't wait to try mini-golf when my kids get a bit older ... I grew up near here but don't live so close now ... WOW ... when it comes to looks and amenities it's changed a lot ... but the ice cream is STILL great!
BrainFreeze – Richardsons Frozen Yoghurt is the ultimate in frozen yogurts! I've tried many frozen yoghurts only to return to Richardsons! With flavors like Purple Cow how can you go wrong?!
