On May 8th 2017 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I’d had no symptoms but a little tinnitus in my left ear. The ringing you occasionally get in your ears after a show? I ignored it for a year. I have ears that have to be cleaned 2-3 times a year. Suction works every time. Water never works for me though and just make it worse. After 20 years I have enough experience and I know my ears well enough to know that When I asked the doctor to use suction and not water, he told me not to tell him how to do his job, so I told him I'm leaving. Doctors should listen. This one is super arrogant
Dr. Richardson is, quite simply, the most amazing surgeon you will ever encounter. His medical knowledge and skill are unmatched by any other.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Richardson for a few months now and I am just so glad I found his office. It’s difficult to find practices like this in LA. His right hand, Joanne, couldn’t be more pleasant and the drs care/communication is excellent. They make things easy, simple and are overall wonderful people. I would recommend him to anyone.
I just want to help everyone else so you don't fall in the same trap I did. I went in for an office visit to check my ear for and the doctor recommended to look up my nose with the endoscope. I said OK. Today I received an insurance bill for $535, which was my responsibility after the insurance covered the $1,800 bill from the doctor. I would never have said OK to this exam if I'd know it cost upwards of $1,500. I tried countless remedies, medicines, and saw numerous doctors / specialists over the years - and Dr. Richardson is the best, hands-down. He is the most knowledgable, thorough, pro-active, and concerned ENT I've ever visited. After getting the infections under control with his guidance & prescriptions (and on my own, I stopped eating dairy, and started taking a sinus probiotic); I followed his advice, and had surgery to correct a deviated septum and a laser turbinate reduction. Stay away. After surgery from a deviated septum, Dr. Richardson did the surgery way more aggressive than he was suppose to and now I have a constant dry mouth, wheezing, and clogging of my sinuses in where I need to breathe through my mouth, in which I didn't have these symptoms prior to surgery - I just had nosebleeds. After seeing 2 additional doctors for a second and third opinion after my surgery, they said that he his surgery was overly aggressive which causes me more problems now, then prior to my surgery.
Excellent doctor with years of experience as an ENT doctor. Very thorough in his examination and always spends time with patients to make sure that they have a full understanding of his diagnosis. When he recommended that I have septoplasty with turbinate reduction surgery, I trusted him completely. My quality of life has improved greatly since the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Richardson.
My general practitioner said there was nothing wrong with my sinuses. Dr Richardson took one look and noticed I have a deviated septum. Finally an answer! He did the septoplasty and even lasered my sinus tissue so I wouldn’t get congested anymore. Life changer. Great doctor, delightful staff, overall pleasant experience. 100% recommend to anyone that needs an ENT.
