I had my first EMG with Dr. Richardson. I was so nervous, my friend told me it was a horrible test. Dr. Richardson expalined the test to me and made me feel so calm. It wasn't that bad, a little uncomfortable but overall not at all what my friend told me. She was also really complete in explaining the test and what it could and could not diagnose, like I didn't know it doesn't measure pain but she explained she was looking at the "wiring" basically and that it can help diagnose or say what it isn't. Update: Calls me and tried to "backtrack" and tell me she said things she never said. She said: I can't find anything wrong with the shoulder, it's Carpel tunnel in the arm. Told me I was having phantom pains from possibly an old injury because nerves sometimes don't forget. I explained that the symptoms are similar to the muscle tear issues in my right shoulder. This Doctor….BEYOND RUDE and over all a terrible human. I can see why she runs the whole show including reception no one would want to work for her. Not sure how she has 4.5 stars Jekyll and Hyde situation? Or she’s writing her own reviews
