Not sure about any of the other mechanics that are working there but if you take your car there make sure Charles Towns isn't working on it He has a reputation for taking people's hard earned money and not fixing their cars....just check the Dorchester and Charleston County court websites and you will see many past and active lawsuits against him for not his shady mechanic practices. BEWARE
Do NOT take your car here!!! This was the worst auto repair experience I've ever had. I took my car in for a tire change and because the engine shifted hard from first to second gear. After 2 weeks of waiting, not even the tire had been changed! I put down nearly $1,000 to get the transmission fixed (reportedly the car needed a new transmission). Worst garage and mechanics ever!! I just got an engine swap done in my '95 GMC Sierra and it keeps stalling and randomly dying on me and struggles to start back up! I have had to take it to a different mechanic to get it diagnosed only to find out that when they swapped my engine that they did not change the computer out as well!!!! So the old computer is not compatible with the new engine which is causing all the problems!!!! Worst place EVER!!!! DO NOT take your vehicle there..my daughter was in a car accident took her car there to be repaired(air bag light was on) they said she needed a sensor and I had to prepay bc it had to be special ordered...OK, no problem, paid 284.00 for the part. When the part came in they called us to bring the car in so they could install part.
