BEWARE, SCAMMERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I used this company for appliance repair in my home several times and never had a problem. The owner mentioned that they were doing plumbing so when I needed my main line snaked out (this needs to be done yearly), I called them. They quoted me $165 to snake the main line. I requested repeatedly that they snake both towards the street and towards my house as we have tree roots that tend to grow through the lines. I thank God for these people! Refrigerator had problems several years ago, repairman was quiet, efficient, and very professional. He also answered questions I had very thoroughly, and helped me to understand my appliance and the workings of other refrigerators in comparison and in general. Problem fixed...still have 'fridge with no problems. Cost surprised me...extremely reasonable! Unreliable and clueless After recently purchasing all new appliances where I needed same day installation, I decided to call Richard's. I was told someone would be out to install between 11-2pm. I had then asked for an approximate cost estimate and was told they "didn't know but our repair guy can call you to discuss." First red flag. After waiting for someone to show up, I received a call at 1:30pm stating that they do not do installations and would not be coming. Richards Appliance Repair is the best When we moved this is where we got all our appliances. My sister got hers here too. The service was great and the staff was so helpful that when after 3 years and a family of mice killed our stove we went back to them for another. If you are looking for a cheap and dependable appliance shop here.
Richards Appliance Repair is a ripoff Prior to putting the house on the market we required a dishwasher gasket repair. This $49 job turned into a $139 replacement of the inside door module because it's "too hard" to replace the gasket alone- okay, roll with it. When the rude and days-late technician presented the invoice, it was for $149- and I didn't catch it. He over-wrote the "3" with a "4" on the invoice with no explanation as to why the extra ten bucks. Do NOT RECOMMEND!!
Great Service!! My husband and I have ONLY used Richard's for several years now and we can't say enough good things about them! We get prompt and courteous response every time. We both work and because of that, they even give me a call in advance of when they're able to be at the house so that one of us can meet them there. If they can't fix a problem, they find a way to resolve it and then always tell us to call them if we're not happy. When reviewing their reasonable rates and products, I would NEVER use the word "cheap" .... read more
Richards appliance is the place to shop I bought a washer 5 years ago from them and it is still running stron and was cheap but bought a dryer from sears 5 years ago and cost a couple hundred and the dryer took a dump on me, looks like i'll be getting my dryer from Richards appliance....
Homeowner Just had "Steve" here from Richard's Appliance. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, & helpful. He called me before arrival to let me know he was on his way. Had to order the part for my LG electric range. Did not charge me for today's visit. Gave me a clear quote for the work to be done. Couldn't have asked for better service.
