If I could leave a 0 star I would. We have been a patient of Dr Richards for 3 yrs. My daughter is 6 and had to have glasses at age 3. We are from Monroe and would see Dr Richards at the Haik Humble location when he would come once a month. He recommended my daughter have eye surgery to fix a slightly lazy eye. We had the surgery Dec 2023. Then we had one checkup 3 months later. My kids have been using the drs with eye docs for kids since the nicu, surgeries included. 5 stars all the way.
Terrible experience! Do NOT recommend at all. Went today with my son & waited 3 hours total for a 15 minute appointment. So basically I told my son before the dr came in to mind his manners … the dr comes in & is SUPER rude to my son and myself. He even got an attitude with me when he left out & my son said, “He’s rude!” So for my 6 year old to even notice it, there was obviously a problem. So I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews but I don't get them at all see I've been going here personally as a patient from 1 all the way to 18 and dr. Richard's saved my eyes from going blind and in my eyes from a child to an adult he is an amazing kind and caring doctor that even my kids now go see him and they love him my 2 year old and my 6 year old the wait can be terrible but it's worth it for quality care.
