Great surgeon. Would recommend to anyone needing help with joint pain of any kind. Thanks to him I have two titanium knees and a new hip . He’s probably the best Orthopedist El Paso has.
The staff do not answer phone calls. There has been a time when I have been on hold with the need to make an appointment for more than an hour. The staff is not knowledgeable on the process in getting information on different procedures. The phone rings and rings and no answer. I got a message this morning that the mailbox is full and I can not leave a message. It is the front office staff that are not all together.
I needed both hips replaced 13 years ago. I had constant pain for almost 4 years before that. Dr. Westbrook replaced my right hip and the new hip is fully functional and pain free for 13 years.
I have been seeing Dr. Westbrook for over 20 years and he has always been professional and caring. I work international regularly and have traveled back to El Paso to see him several times when needed because I know that I will always get the best care from available from Dr Richard Westbrook.
Dr Westbrook and the entire staff were top notch. I was very pleased.

Correctly diagnosed the problem and suggested an injection to decrease pain.
Good follow up visit post surgery. Doctor offered suggestions for maintenance and continued healing from procedure. Open to answering questions and wanted to know about any issues still occurring since surgery. Multiple family members have had surgeries with Dr. Westbrook and all have been very satisfied.
Short wait. Doctor requested X-rays. He explained X-rays. He said to keep wearing knee brace. Come back in three weeks. He answered any questions I had.
