I had Lapiplasty 3D bunion surgery a week ago. The surgery went great & very little pain so far.
If anyone is searching for a podiatrist, I highly recommend Dr. Richard Swails, McKinney Footcare; he is excellent. I have been to two others in different states and Dr. Swails far exceeds my treatment with them. He has an excellent bedside manner, patient wait time is nearly zero, or has been for me, and treatment plan has been well discussed, documented, and implemented. Dr. Swails removed a bunion and NO pain at all. Next was the ingrown toenail and fungi. Again NO pain. Today went and found out that a stress fracture trying to become a problem and treated again for fungi on the same toe. Also found out my fav Gotta Flirt tennis shoes are a huge NO. Need better and a lace up to go above the ankle. Have to doctor my foot with some Diclofenac and if not better in two weeks, Dr Swails is holding a boot in my name�� This is one VERY SMART and Very Knowledge Doctor in his practice!!! Dr. Swails did my son's ingrown toenail surgery today. He was very kind and explained the surgery well. He took his time, I never felt rushed. My son has a very low pain tolerance and he said he didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend Dr. Swails.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Swails and his staff. He is kind, patient, professional and helped me with my complicated plantar fasciitis problems. I would highly recommend him!
Dr. Swails performed an operation for a hammer toe on me. He did a beautiful job. I only used a few ibuprofen for pain the first two days after. I immediately had pain relief. He is one of the most caring nicest doctors I have ever had. If you have any foot issues go see him.
I had surgery performed by Dr. Swails to correct hammertoes after a vehicle accident. He relieved my constant pain and I was able to walk with a more corrected gate. I have a world of confidence in Dr. Swails, and would not hesitate to recommend his services.
