Hands down probably the best corneal surgeon at Kaiser. He explained in detail and even showed me photos of how he did my procedure, especially because I was a tougher case. He is very informative and down to earth making it easy to understand all aspects of the surgery and what to expect during recovery. I received the best care under his team. He is an awesome Doctor!

IT HAS BEEN 10 DAYS SINCE I HAD CATARACT SURGERY ON MY RIGHT EYE. THE CATARACT WAS LARGE AND HAD RENDERED MY VISION WORTHLESS IN MY RIGHT EYE. WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER SURGERY, I HAD PERFECT VISION IN MY RIGHT EYE AT ALL DISTANCES AND IT CONTINUES TO BE EXCELLENT. I SAW 20/20 IN THE POST OP VISIT AND PROBABLY COULD HAVE SEEN 20/10. GREAT JOB BY DR. STIVERSON! I AM VERY PLEASED. THE STAFF AT KAISER WAS EXCELLENT, ALSO. I HAD LASIK 20 YEARS PRIOR TO MY CATARACT SURGERY.
Underwent bilateral cataract surgery which was a resounding success due to the expertise and competency of Dr. Stiverson. From the evaluation to the followup after surgery, Dr. Stiverson impressed me with his knowledge in the area and not only his ability to relate to the patient's needs but arrive at solutions to maximize the patient's quality of life. I never felt rushed in my discussions with him. I highly recommend Dr. Stiverson and Kaiser staff.
Dr. Stiverson was one of the most thorough and professional physicians I have ever met. He took an extraordinary amount of time to be certain I understood my condition and options. I can't recommend him and his staff high enough.
