I have been a patient for 40 years, this morning I terminated by relationship. Changes in office personnel have scared away the good employees and alienated the patients. Its sad to see that the owners of the practice would rather lose patients then deal with their personnel issue. I really wish them the best, but I would expect he worst of the storm is yet to come.
Outstanding, friendly family practice – Great place. Family business where everyone obviously cares. I typically see Dr. Richard Reagin for eye exams, but I have also seen Dr. Thomas Reagin for problems with Dr. Richard is not available. The experiences are consistently excellent. Both are excellent doctors and nice guys. The building is quaint, and the environment is homespun. Service it top-notch. It was Dr. Richard who initially diagnosed a family member's diabetes and encouraged him to seek additional care - thanks, Doc!
Successful Vison Therapy – I don't typically write reviews but I was so pleased with the results of my son's vision therapy with Dr. Reagin Senior (Wallace Reagin) that I had to comment. Vision therapy was hard work - 30 minutes of exercises 5 days a week with a kid who found it cumbersome. But after 10 months of vision therapy, my son, who had to cover one eye after 10 minutes of reading and was told he might need time accommodation with testing for the rest of his life because of this, can now sit and read for 6 hours stra... read more
Personal Eye care at its best! – This gem in downtown Decatur is what medical practices used to be. Their quaint office is run by a family of eye doctors who have been in the same location since before I was born. In the age of lens crafters, wal-mart eye care, and America's best doc-in-a-boxes, this is a breath of fresh air. The personal service you receive just isn't there in the national chains.
