I had a laminectomy with Dr. Levenberg two weeks ago. I am already back doing everything I did before except heavy lifting. He operated on 2 vertebrae and removed several bone spurs. I could barely walk before because the pain was so bad and now it's practically gone. It's already improved my life. If you need this surgery I highly recommend Dr. Levenberg.
Surgery for lower back and leg pain one and a half years ago by Rothmann in Bryn Mawr. Pain returned and was more severe. Second surgery was recommended in less than a years time. Sought second opinion from Dr. Richard J. Levenberg. He ruled out several possibilities with physical therapy, epidurals, ultra sound of my legs and nerve tests of both legs. Had two vists with Dr. Levenberg that lasted maybe a total of 5 minutes. He didn’t even show me the results of the MRI, X-Rays, and EMG I had done. Just felt rushed and uncared for. The name of the game was to get you in and out as quick as possible.

Dr. Levenberg is the only doctor I would trust for any surgery needed on my spine. This is the second surgery for me and Dr. Levenberg also performed surgery on my husband. He explained everything in great detail and answered any questions I had. I went into surgery with complete confidence and was not disappointed. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Dr Levenberg with high standards. A family member has been suffering with severe back pain for approximately six months. We took all routes to seeing various Orthopedic surgeons that suggested x-rays, MRI, Neurological evaluation including EEG, also seeing a specialist in pain control who suggested and performed two epidurals without relief.So we went back to Dr Levenberg who had previously suggested surgery. Dr. Levenberg took a very thoughtful and reassuring approach to my care leading up to and after surgery. In EVERY conversation over the past several months, he reassured me that he and his team would return me to a pain-free, high quality of life.
