I always feel like I'm his only Patient that day because there is no rush to see the next person, we actually have a conversation and his listening's. Dr. Winakur perform surgery on my left knee almost 5 years and its' never felt better. Which is why I'm back for surgery on the right knee.
Dr. Winakur listened to every word and I was grateful for his advice.
He's a very good listener and responds well & caringly to my desires, I'm very happy he is my orthopedic doctor.
Took my niece for an initial visit with Dr. Winakur, and he was both professional and personable. My niece really took to him, and he quickly accessed our needs and got us to the next point in her medical needs.
Dr. Winakur is always in tune with the condition of my knees versus my cancer diagnosis and the impact the cancer treatments have on my joints. He works within the parameters of my cancer diagnosis and the treatments I am able to receive for my knees.
Dr. Winakur is an excellent physician and we are thankful to have been under his expert care during joint replacement surgery. He is compassionate, intelligent and extremely thorough. Thank you for making this experience as pleasant as possible!
Sadly, I was a patient of Dr. Winakur for 9 years, and this last experience was TERRIBLE, and am now seeing another Dr. Firstly, his receptionist is a nasty lady, she is very self absorbed, and doesn't seem to care about Dr. Winakur's patients. Secondly, I called 6 times to talk to Dr.. Winakur to no avail - he never returned my phone calls. After finally seeing another doctor I was told that my diagnosis from Winakur was completely WRONG, and the PT he recommended actually damaged my hip.
Dr. Winakur does amazing work! His is polite and honest, as well as, extremely knowledgeable. My husband had a total hip replacement in January, and he his progressing beautifully. Thanks to Dr. Winakur, he is pain free for the first time in years!
Dr. Winkler hands and eyes are blessed by God. I extremely love this Dr and you will too!!
