Being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult is already difficult; however, seeing Dr. Kaplan has made this diagnosis easier to manage with his help and the addition of medication. I'm thrilled with the results.
I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for quite a long time and the reason is because he is caring, compassionate and takes the time to really listen to his patients; so much so, that my husband is seeing him as well now.
Having severe anxiety after the passing of my husband was something that grief counseling could not help with. I started seeing Dr. Kaplan several months ago and I'm already seeing good results. He has been compassionate and caring when it comes to medication as I didn't want to start right away with meds and he was very understanding of that.
Wanting to get a handle on my depression was my first and only thoughts after losing my job. Being under so much stress for so long, i knew I needed more than a self-help book. Dr. Kaplan was that resource I needed. Although I was not a fan of medication, he took the time to do the work with me and with his medical expertise helped me realize that medication was going to be beneficial but that I may only need it for a short amount of time. I was referred to Dr. Kaplan by my coworker for help for my daughter. He is a wonderful doctor and really understands our needs. We highly recommend him.
