Dr. Brannen is outstanding. I've been his patient for probably 25 years and travel 50 miles to see him. He is thorough, knowledgable, and a leading practitioner nationally in the contact lens field. I have seen him a few years and am DONE going there. I don't care if I have to pay out of pocket, I will not go back there. His receptionist started going off on me the second I walked to the window because I needed a referral (I had been there within a year) and continued to greet me by impatiently making me sign a form that said I would pay them if I didn't get one. She was 100% concerned with being paid the $140 and with nothing else and she continued to go on and on about the referral even after I said I would just pay f... read more

Receptionist was very sweet. Downhill, however, from there. Brannen himself was brusque, impatient, rude, and offered almost no explanations for what he was doing or why. My insurance network directed me to this guy; next time I'll skip the insurance if necessary. Nothing would get me back there. Frustrating, irritating, period.
