This is a beautiful office, but more impressive was the staff and Dr. Barbee. They were so kind and patient. Dr. Barbee was very thorough in his initial exam and I didn't feel like another number in the chair. He and his assistant were efficient, gentle and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend.
I recently went to Dr. Barbee's office over the course of three visits. My first impressions were very favorable. However, when I began to ask questions to better understand my situation, Dr. Barbee was condescending and rude. Instead of answering my questions, he said things such as "What, did you see that on the internet?" "This isn't for laymen." "This is above your pay scale." "I think I know more about this than you." After making the appt & driving over 2 hours I was told sorry cant help you until 2 weeks away. The 1st visit is just 2 get information which we could have done on the phone. Asked for help with the pain & was told a flat out NO. This was a waste of time, money & gas. Then they wouldnt offer no alternate solution. They were rude, racist, and very unprofessional. I'll never rcommend & will tell others 2 advoid.
I HATE going to the dentist - always have. I think my dislike began as a child whose dentist kept veterinary pliers laying on the counter top ... When I was referred to Dr. Barbee I told him that I wasn't going to like his office, his office staff or him. He said, "I've heard all that before. We'll see." A decade later I'm still going!
