Dr. Thompson is the most amazing surgeon I've ever met. He was hell bent on saving my life. One of the surgeries performed by him was incredibly delicate in the sense that one microscopic move would have punctured my lung and Dr. Thompson refused to give up on the idea of this surgery when most of the surgeons ran away from such a risky but absolutely necessary surgery, but not Dr. Thompson. I was recently admitted to the hospital with multiple issues with my right lung, which had stemmed from an accident I had a few years earlier, and some other more recent issues. From x-rays and CT scans, I was told that there were multiple issues with my right lung, including being partially collapsed, and there was a lot of uncertainty over exactly what was wrong and how bad the lung was.
