Richard F. Johnston After I initially hurt my knee playing indoor soccer, I followed the R.I.C.E principal - Rest, Apply Ice, compression and elevation until the MRI verified my injury. I have had 2 surgeries to repair meniscus in my right knee. Both were successful. Note: I'm not related to Dr. Johnston.

malpractice no compassion for patient, will never see him again. I had a motor vehicle accident. My vehicle was totaled and i began to have a problem with my right knee 2 days later. I went to the emergency room was given a leg splint, because my knee was swollen like a grape fruit. 3 days later I see Dr. Johnston decides theres nothing wrong with my knee and decided to do nothing until the MRI. No anti inflammatory, no cortisone shot. Nothing to help me with the swelling and inflammation. 8 days later, MRI results are back and surgery will be needed to repair my meniscus. He is a joke of a doctor if you can call him that and Southern Orthopedics Specialist will not have the opportunity to do the surgery on my knee. By the way I have Cigna insurance coverage. Robert Salazar
