I initially seen Dr. Russo just as a second opinion, but after listening to him explain the procedure, and reading his reviews, my wife and I both were quite impressed and I decided to allow Dr. Russo to do my surgery. I had total replacement surgery done the first week of Feb. and haven't looked back, everything is going well. Dr. Russo is a top notch surgeon, and along with proper therapy, my healing time will kept to a minimum !!!
If you want to have a first class surgical performed by Dr. Russo you should know that he is THE BEST. I had heard all of the horror stories about how much pain I would have to endure as I had therapy and recovered. However, my fears were totally unfounded because of the skill and experience of Dr. Russo. I experienced very little pain or discomfort. Nothing that a few Tylenol couldn't handle. I came to Dr. Wang for a consultation about pain in my lower back and pelvis area. He had xrays of my spine and pointed out all the areas which were causes. He took his time answering all my concerns and questions and did not rush out until he was sure I understood his analysis. He was so patient and made many suggestions of what I should and shouldn’t do Exercising. He suggested an MRI so he can see more clearly which I have scheduled. Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable, warm, caring. He listens to your concerns. He works with you for your optimal care. I started with Dr. Wang after a car accident. Dr. Wang addressed my chronic pain with ultra sound guided injections. Afterwards, I saw him again for injections in spine area to relieve bulging discs. I highly recommend.
I had total hip replacement one month ago by Dr. Vincent Russo's son Dr. Matthew Russo. Practically since the day surgery was done I have been pain free and walk like a normal person again. Both doctors are a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside manner. The staff is wonderful and helpful also. Thank you Dr. Vincent and Dr. Matthew Russo for helping to give me back my normal life. All the people who know me could not believe how quick I recovered. I also like the Pulse application on the phone for therapy
I shall be eternally grateful to Dr. Russo. He chose to take an 87 year - old woman with a heart problem, constant a-fib, and give her (me) the gift of a replaced knee. The new knee allows me to stand straight and to walk in comfort. I walked well within 10 days. Dr. Russo's support staff was superb as was the after care.
