So I went to Dr. Statesir for an eye exam. While there, he mentioned that I had some "gunk" (I guess it's the technical term) on my eyelids and I should use some shampoo on a rag to get rid of it. This was a 10 second off-hand comment. This somehow not meant that my exam was no longer covered by by eye insurance...but was being submitted to my medical insurance...and now instead of owing $10 for the exam, I owed almost $150.
