We love the ice cream and atmosphere. Being retired allows us to visit during the afternoon on weekdays to avoid the crowds. Looking forward to spring and peppermint patty...please!
I have been going there for a long time experiencing quality icecream and service so was surprised with service on Sunday. We ordered two apple pies and two hot chocolates and we received the apple pies in a cup and one hot chocolate to share with the explanation they were out of milk. We even had to request money back for the hot chocolate that was not provided as they did not do it on there own. Disappointed for the first time with service!
I live in southern Connecticut and only get up to Oxford when I visit relatives. When I do get to Oxford I always stop for ice cream. Delicious!!! I only wish you were opened all year. Can't wait until the spring.
