Awesome Concept – My girlfriend and I went for the first time the other night and shared the Cheesecake/Raspberry combo. Amazing. Those who complain about the prices maybe don't realize that they include the taxes making it cheaper than Pinkberry, Ciao Bella and most any ice cream place. Servings are large and containers are great to take home and wash for other uses. I'm sold on the place!

What a downer... – I was so excited to bring my boyfriend to Rice to Riches because I knew that he loves rice pudding. Much to my chagrin , I found that the service there to be quite cold and unpleasant, much like their pudding. The workers look annoyed if you even dare to ask them for a little spoonful to taste their flavors. And, you BETTER like the flavor that you choose, because you will get a lot of it, and not at a great price either.

Lots flavors, but containers aren't biodegradable! – Cute serving containers and to-go boxes. But they are not biodegradable nor recyclable. I can't believe how wasteful it is and how harmful it is to the environment. Can't believe Greenpeace hasn't protested it by the front door yet.

Bland and overrated.... – ...is pretty much all there is to say. The concept is great and the list of flavors are enticing, but when it comes down to it you're paying a lot for rice pudding that doesn't taste all that good

Fun atmosphere - Good not great pudding – Fun futuristic atmosphere, dishes, and attitude compliment a great selection of flavors - but is the pudding really up to par? I've had better texture & taste in quite a few other spots. Pricing & massive quantities are also a little ridiculous unless going with a group.

The best dessert place ever! – Let me preface by saying that I love rice pudding. If you are also a fan, then imagine a place totally devoted to providing you with dozens of yummy flavors of rice pudding. Not sure what you want? The staff will happily let you try ALL the flavors -- don't worry, they are used to it. The decor is hip, and the place is great for an after-dinner treat. I like this place so much, I make excuses to come down to Nolita just to stop by here. The previous writer was correct in saying that you only ge... read more

Not a fan – I was actually looking forward to visiting Rice To Riches. When I got there I was pleased with the atmosphere- very light-hearted and playful. When I saw they had my three favorite flavors I became quite excited to try them together. However, when I ordered the three flavors in the medium-sized dish, which is a lot of food, I was told no. The staff was not unpleasant but they said their policy is to allow only two flavors in one dish. This may not be a big deal but that is exactly why this "policy" is so ridiculo... read more

you've made a rice pudding fan out of me!!! – Okay, I wasn't a fan of rice pudding until my boyfriend exposed me to rice to riches, now I can't get enough of it! It's delicious and healthy well minus all the sugar. This is a rice pudding heaven. This is a very clean establishment and is very socially responsible. They provide all reusable containers and utensils (which is like a smaller version of a shoe horn). Generous servings are given and at only $4.50 - it's a feast for two. We ordered the smallest container and it was ... read more
