My husband was in there for rehabilitation from March 11th to April 5th he needed help walking ,they left him in the bathroom for almost a hour his legs were going numb they didn't answer the call button so he tried to got up to get to his wheelchair that was not locked down and fell,he called for help and someone came in but it wasn't a CNA . Rice Estates Rehabilitation. I am not going to lie my mom was difficult because of her dementia. And the staff did a wonderful job at containing her. Mom could walk with a walker. However, Rice Estate rehabilitation refused to give her the walker to get around. They only allowed her to scoot around in a wheelchair, unless she was doing her rehabilitation.
I give 5 stars to Rice Estate with confidence! Rice Estate is the third Assisted Living facility that my parents have lived in. The other two promised the moon and delivered extremely poor care. Rice is the opposite. Night and day difference! Most residents keep their doors open and the staff keep very close eyes on everyone in their care. The Administrators and staff truly CARE about my parents. Their corporate office is local.
