Ricardo's Mexican Cafe My favorite Mexican restaurant! I have been a patron of Ricardo's for over 20 years. They have the best waiter's who treat you like family. I enjoy the atmosphere, their food - my favorites - The Burrito Especial and Original Chimichanga! Of course don't forget the drinks. The prices are reasonable. Great place to celebrate family gatherings, work celebrations and holidays.
Traditional Americanized Mexican food If you're looking for down-home, just-like-in-Mexico food, this probably isn't your place. But if you like Americanized Mexican food you grew up with, Ricardo's (formerly Don Jose's) is worth a try. My family has been going there for well over 20 years, and my parents always go there when they're back in Orange County. It's Great! Ricardo's has everything you could possibly want: Great food; terrific service; reasonably priced. For those on a lunch schedule, the service is quick, but you are never hurried. A wonderful group of people to work with in arranging your special occasions, too!
Ricardo's Have been going here for years and always use the coupons - dependable food and service usually very good. Does get busy - lots of regulars as it's always dependable and reasonably priced. Definitely return and returned lots of times.
Still my favorite I remember going to Don Jose's when I was about 10 years old...30 years ago! To this day it's still my favorite Mexican place, and the restaurant I always choose for my birthday and Mother's Day! Hint: sign up for their "birthday club" online and you will receive coupons every other month for a "buy one get one free" dinner. Their margaritas are great too!

Good Memories Don Jose's has been around forever off of El Toro across from the mall. They have excellent margaritas and their food is above average. Great place for family or birthday/celebration dinners.
