Enjoy the atmosphere of a Mexican cantina complete with strolling musicians. To start your meal, try the Sampler de Ricardos with beef quesadilla, stuffed jalapeno peppers, chicken taquitos and nachitos with assorted dipping sauces. All the entrees are excellent, but an exceptional treat is the Filet del Rey, a seasoned flame-grilled beef filet with caramelized onions and chilies. A vast array of unique chicken, pork and seafood dishes round out the menu. Margaritas of all flavors, tequila, wine and Mexican beer are availabl... read more

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants out there, I kid you not, if you don’t like Mexican food, go here and I will guarantee you that you will love it afterwards.
Love it!! – Been eating here for years, and had dinner here last night..love the carnitas and enchiladas..place gets busy, but service is always good..bit pricey, but its good!!
Would Not Recommend This For Weddings – Family members chose this restaurant for a wedding reception which was the only reason for my attendance. There are only two Mexican restaurants I will eat out at and they are not in Las Vegas. Nice restaurant decor, appeared to be authentic with the pottery here and there but too warm inside, especially when a large group gathers and hot food sits on the serving table over an open flame for a long time. The food was unremarkable: Cheese enchiladas with red chili sauce, very bland. Nic... read more
Ok for what it is – After reading the reviews on Citysearch, I was excited to try this restaurant. I was pretty shocked when I saw the prices. I kept in consideration that this is Las Vegas but I still felt it was overpriced. The food was incredibly bland for a Mexican restaurant. Two of my items were cold in the center, leaving me to believe that the food is not made fresh but refrigerated and then heated when served. The service was good and I was compensated for the cold food but the damage had been done. My search for an... read more
Business response:
So sorry to see this! Did you ask for a manager? My family has owned and operated Ricardo's for 31 years, and we haven't stayed in business this long by serving cold food!! As for prices, we are way less than the strip, and are pretty much the same as similar sit down restaurants in LV. My name is Sara Ansara, so please, come by again and I'll treat you to a couple free margaritas! Just call (702) 227-9100 and remind me of this convo! I'll take care of ya! : )
Great Family Style Mexican Restaurant! – Ricardo's Mexican Restaurant has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. From the first moment you walk in, it's obvious that Ricardo's has a unique atmosphere with the various decorations on the wall as well as the uniforms worn by the staff. The ambiance sets the mood for a nice, casual evening with family and friends. The food itself tastes great and is offered at an amazing price point. When you're first seated, you're immediately given chips and salsa (two differ... read more
Great Mexican food, great staff, will definitely be returning! – My friend and I stopped in for lunch at Ricardo's last Friday and couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. Started with chips and salsa, obviously. They have two different salsas; one is standard and the other uses roasted tomatoes which was awesome. I think we went though 2 or 3 bowls or the roasted tomato salsa. For the main dish I had the chicken enchiladas smothered with cheese and half red, half green sauce, the way I always order them at other ... read more
BEST margaritas and fried ice cream!!! – My family has been going to Ricardo's since the first one opened in 1979 in the Meadows Mall. Our family has had many birthday and graduation dinners there, and my sister also had her rehearsal dinner there. The food is great, the staff is warm and friendly, and they even remember that we like to sit in Debbie's section when we come! : ) Best margaritas and fried ice cream in town!!!!
Great Food, Great Ambiance Great Service – Love the Authentic Mexican Food, very relaxing from the welcome to the table to the serving and desert. What I especially liked at Ricardo's was the portion size, just enough to fill you up and not too much to waste. My waiter even took our left overs and without asking, went and made go to boxes. He even added some extra tortillas to our boxes. The service was always with a smile.
mexican food awfull, avoid at all cost – Decided to try Ricardos after reading current reviews, and my experience was AWFULL!!! Lousy food, flautas tasted like they were fried in old oil and soggy...couldn't even eat them.... Ordered Don Julio margaritas and received I'm still not quite sure what they served us, tasted like cheap tequila blend.
