I accompanied my husband recently when he went to see Dr. Martinez on a referral from our primary Doctor's office. I have used Dr. Martinez for many years. He is a good physician, knowledgeable and caring. However, as of the past year, it is nearly impossible to book and appointment with Dr. Martinez. I keep getting referred to a Physician's Assistant and have not seen Dr. Martinez in nearly a year. My appointments with the P.A. keep getting rescheduled. Having had my first heart attack at age 49 my condition progressed to require 9 coronary artery stents over several years to deal with arterial blockages. Dr. Ricardo Martinez of Charlotte heart and vascular, Port Charlotte, Fl, has been my cardiologist for the last 17 years and he placed most all those stents as needed. Dr. Martinez is an amazing physician. He is extremely competent, professional, caring, interested in you and listens. I have been under his care for over 10 years and he saved my life.
