Although I am in treatment for amyloidosis, a rare and serious disease that affects the heart, he asked no questions, displayed no interest in my concerns, patronized me. He saw something in my MRI he didn’t understand but was uninterested. I asked if he knew anything about one of the chemo medicines I was on, he just said no. I have since found a cardiologist with expertise in the disease at Baylor, where I will have my stem cell transplant. Oh, and my visit notes say “male.” I’m a CIS woman.

Dr. Guerra and his staff are wonderful. Each person on his staff goes the extra mile for you. He is very concerned about you and answers all my questions. I selected him because he had operated on a 92 year old friend and she was the healthy vibrant woman she had been before her heart attack!
