What Riazzi's is lacking in decorative flair, they more than make up for in delicious food and friendly service. The ambiance is cozy and the pace of the meal is enjoyable. The Scarpl souep is fantastic, as is the Minestrone. I can personally recommend all of the chicken and veal options, though to be fair, my favorites are the Chicken Valastano and Veal Piccata. This restaurant has been a Phoenix area favorite for several decades. Ample menu with many Italian specialties, nicely prepared. Their marinara sauce is decidedly better than most, thick, fresh and garlicky. Pleasant interior, spotless restroom and caring service.
My daughter loves pasta, so we are always on the lookout for good Italian restaurants. We found this one while out shopping for supplies for her new apartment. The service was excellent and the food was very yummy. We even had plenty of leftovers for her to take back to her new place.

I am in looove with the chicken valestano!!! it's seriously good (either that or i'm just a chicken lover). Service is good. It's better than most Italian restaurants in the area.
"Really authentic Italian cooking with ""Mama"" in the kitchen. Family run, the food is some of the best ""homemade"" Italian food in town. Very reasonable prices and cooking that done by Southern Italy make this a special, yet very casual place to have a great dinner. "

This is your old school Italian restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tony Soprano there. The food has always been excellent and appears to be all done in-house. The waiter even commented that the sausage was made in-house so the spices could vary depending on the chef. I usually get the mussels which are served swimming in a big wide bowl with butter to dip.
