Beginning with a recommendation from a bartender at the hotel I stay at I have been to Riazzi's several times now. Really like the seafood diavola ... spicy with good amount of mussels, shrimp and scallops. Did not care for the veal dish I had one night. Another seafood dish of just scallops and pasta was so so. Meatball dish...
My first time to Riazzi's was a completely forgettable, mediocre. It was probably my fault, I ordered the wrong thing. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs but the actual spaghetti noodle was just not great. Angel hair is better. But a mom-and-pop Italian joint as good as this deserved another chance. So I read the menu online, figured out the stuffed chicken, the Chicken Valastano", was my next target, OH MY! So good! The pizza is extraordinary. Thin crust, hard to describe. Simply delicious. We went to Riazzi's last night for our anniversary dinner and it was wonderful as always. Shortly after being seated in a comfortable padded booth in the bar, the server brought a basket of piping hot bread with several pats of butter, and the feasting began. Traditional Italian music alternated with classic oldies from the 50s as we enjoyed our.
it's good and you get a lot of food, worth the price (around $12) for the entire meal in my opinion.
Went here for both lunch and dinner and would give this restaurant an A+ The food is excellent well prepared an as authentic as Italy itself. The portions are very generous and the prices are extremely reasonable! Unlike the previous reviewer the service was extremely good being both attentive and courteous.
Riazzis is a beautiful restaurant that is perfect for a first date or anniversary. very romantic!
The food was amazing.
Came here the other night for dinner with friends. This is a nicely decorated place with a relaxing ambiance that also serves very good food. I ordered the chicken Marsala with a vegetable side and its was excellent. The menu has an extensive selection and I would definitely return to try one of their other dishes.
Great food! Best Italian food out here. Veal Marsala is better than any place in New York. Their chicken stuffed with three cheeses is also delish. The bread and salads are simple and classic. This restaurant is a staple of mine, and I've been going here for countless years. Yes, besides the unique tree growing over the entrance, the decor is bland (1980's Italian style). I think it makes it feel a little more like if you were eating at Ma's house, and she was stuck in the 80's. Love this places food!
