Had apps in the bar. Need reservations for a hopping Sat night. Had the pork meatballs, pickled shrimp and fried green tomatoes, Mongolian banquet lamb ribs and lobster corn dogs! Wonderful and Luke our server was very prompt and attentive.
We had our meal at the Chef's table on Saturday night. A wonderful experience. Our diner was a true "graze" through the menu. Sharing and pairing all the way and all courses were excellent. The staff was great at what they do, not pushy and very helpful in dealing with some dietary restrictions. I find it a true compliment when the Chef thanks US for enjoying the meal he prepared for us. Rhubarb, we will be back.
From start to finish, our dinner at Rhubarb was one of our all-time favorites in Asheville. Impressive, delicious, yet unpretentious dishes, and the service was phenomenal -- one of the best experiences we've ever had! Definitely coming back!
A huge thank you to the staff that opened up the patio to me, my husband and two dogs who were traveling with us. The waiter (wish I remembered his name but he was from Florida too) braved the cold temps so we could enjoy the food and not leave our pups at the hotel. And the food was superb! We will definitely return during our next vacation. In fact all the staff was friendly so thank you for making us feel welcome....very much appreciated!
Our first experience dining at Rhubarb! The food was all local and prepared in a innovative manner. The pork meatballs with grits as an appetizer was fabulous! It could have been a small meal. A must to eat when visiting Asheville!
One of the most enjoyable evenings I have spent dining in Asheville! You have to try the Lobster Corn Dogs! They are wonderful!
Excellent cheese plate, fantastic service, quality homemade cocktails and pecans.
Thanks chef and staff for the special 1 year anniversary dinner. We didn't stop here a year ago on our honeymoon but we made sure we came here for are return trip. Very happy we did.
