I had spinal stenosis surgery by Dr Rhim in July. I highly recommend him I couldn't walk when I first visited him and was in severe pain. I am now pain free and walking great. Frank P
Dr. Rhim is excellent. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great surgeon. He takes his time in explaining everything and while sometimes the wait is long, I know he will give me the same time he afforded the prior patient. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Rhim from the first appointment and had no hesitation with proceeding with the recommended surgery. After one day I feel a great improvement.
My 81-year-old dad was unable to walk and in excruciating pain with herniated discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica and a pinched nerve. Thankfully, he found Dr. Rhim. Not only was Dr. Rhim kind, polite and compassionate while seeing him in the office before surgery, he was just as kind and caring at the hospital pre and post surgery. Two weeks after surgery, thanks to Dr. Rhim my dad was cleared to drive, which made him so happy to be back to himself and be independent. DR. RHIM IS THE BEST!!!!!
Dr. Rhim is the first Doctor that I ever wanted to hug AFTER my surgery as I felt better the literal day after than the day before. My previous Doctor in Brielle had given up on me. Doing some research I decided to look in the Hackensack Hospital area After finding Dr. Rhim, he didn't give me any promises, just honesty. He gave me my options and we settled on one. It worked beyond my wildest dreams. Highly recommended as is the Hackensack Orthopedics Department PS I DID give him that hug.

Dr. Rhim is a excellent surgeon and knows what he is doing. He takes the time out the explain about the procedure in a very clear manner. Ever since my surgery I have been feeling better than ever!
Dr. Rhim recently performed emergency surgery on my neck and spinal cord. I quickly learned that his credentials are impressive. Dr. Rhim is an expert surgeon who communicated the challenges of my situation with compassion and patience to me and to my family. He spent time to make sure I understood everything, before and after surgery. I truly believe that Dr. Rhim saved my life and that his talents now enable me to move forward with my career and life with no disabilities.
Dr Rhim did an excellent repair of my lower spine. This alleviated the major pain I had. He had follow-ups to make sure my healing was progressing. It has been almost a year and now walking without pain. I would recommend him.
Dr. Richard Rhim was very patient in listening to all of my concerns. He took his time explaining the best procedure that I qualified for and that would work best given my symptom's. I had extreme pain and numbness in my right arm from my neck to my fingertips (and I am right Handed), I had Cervical Spinal- Spine Stenosis Surgery. The difference I feel is absolutely incredible, and feel silly now feeling so scared and afraid of the unknown. My family and I are grateful we went to Dr. Rhim
