He was not very pleasant. I did not like his bedside manner. He spoke about surgery before we had a chance to discuss the problems I was having in my neck. He informed me that he was a orthopedic surgeon, so does that mean surgery was my only option. I know he received good reviews but I left there very upset.
Dr. Rhim preformed surgery on my spine in December, 2019. Not only did he use a more modern approach that allows me to keep the mobility in my neck, his surgery completely rid me of horrible pain. He is a wonderful surgeon and I would highly recommend him and his staff.
Dr. Rhim was very professional, understanding and assuring. From diagnosis to surgery I knew I was in very competent hands. Follow visits have been very reassuring.
I came in to see DR, Rhim in so much pain in could not breath. Now i feel so much better i can now smile again.
He put my spine back together. Microdiscectomy for a herniated lumbar disc. Excrutiating sciatic nerve pain that never seemed to stop. Dr Rhim took out the chipped disc. He was great. I healed great. Now I feel no pain. If your problem sounds like mine, or something spinally similar - you should go with Dr Rhim.

I met Dr. Rhim on a Tuesday. I couldn't walk or even stand for an x-ray. He ordered an MRI and reviewed the results with me on that Friday. I had severe spinal stenosis. He scheduled emergency surgery for that Sunday. He was fantastic, a great surgeon. Two weeks later, I was walking with a cane. I highly recommend Dr. Rhim.
Dr Rhim was a great listener and explained the proceeder with no confusion on how it was go.
I came to Dr. Richard Rhim after suffering from severe sciatica pain for 6 months. I had a herniated disc that was pressing on the nerve, which shot pain down my entire left leg. Dr. Rhim took the time to answer every single question I had pre-op and post-op, and now I am pain free and recovering after my microdiscectomy surgery. This is a doctor that is cool, calm, and collected, and he is as kind as he is talented. He is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. I recommend him most highly
