STAY AWAY!!! Worst doctor ever! Never even got to talk about my chief complaints because he was to busy belittling me for not being able to afford insurance prior to seeing him. He also made me feel uncomfortable asking me to take my pants off but refused to leave the room. NO female nurse was present in the room either. Also my complaints were about my arm and hands, so why would i need to remove my pants?! He yelled at me and demanded i sit down when i told him he was rude and made me uncomfortable. He came in and only addressed the chief complaints I wrote down on the paperwork and fatigue. His version of addressing these problems was to tell me to see other specialist and to lose weight and that my weight loss will help with most of my symptoms. Mind you I went in with an actual list made ready for this appointment and he let me actually state one symptom that wasn’t on my paperwork. I would not recommend this Doctor. He rushes in, listens to your lungs {but NOT your concerns} & then rushes out ! I know Rheumatologist's are hard to find, but I definitely would find someone else
I felt like all my visits were identical regardless of new symptoms. All Dr Monev did was order blood tests and give me Hydroxie chloroquine
Dr. Monev was not a good listener. I have been dealing with severe chronic pain and had to quit my job. I have been waiting an extremely long time for this appointment. My family and I thought it was best I try to see a rheumatologist to get a diagnosis since my mom has an entire list of auto-immune disorders which I was concerned about and he blew all of that off.
