revolving door with a LONG WAIT.. Use to be a decent place, especially for those in need with no insurance or the safety net program. Its honestly hit or miss. My last visit was a miss after my legitimate Dr, retired, spawn of satan.. Treated like a dumb convict even though I have my degree and work a real career for a living. I attend the guidance center for both my med appointments as well as my therapy appts. My therapist is pam hiers and she is great, I havent seen the med doctor yet but I have an appt monday. The guidance center has been great. The wait time is sometimes a little long, but it is well worth it with the quality of staff they have there
My brother is Schizophrenic and he has been to Plateau several times and we have found them to be incompetent. We have tried several times to find other resurces for him but he keeps getting referred back to them. They are the only facility Cookeville has that I know of. They also have a very high turn-over rate for doctors and counselors. We are very disappointed with their services.
