Easy to do business with
the sales and install portions were just fine, however the overall maintenance and follow-up going forward has been lacking entirely. I was told originally that the panels would be washed on a yearly basis, but only once when I first requested did someone show up to wash them. I have since washed them myself when I had time and they looked pretty filthy dirty. I have not heard from anyone about the performance, and occasionally I go onto the website to look up the statistics. More proactive communication would be a plus.
The site visit, planning and preparation along with permits and related activity was backed up by constant communication and excellent installation. The system provides electricity as planned and has been trouble free since installation in June of 2015.
Real good on the sales end. It took a while for the materials to arrive and then even longer for the install to begin. Then they left the site before turning the panels on. Another tech had to come out to complete that. It seems the further away from the sale you get, the further away from customer service you get.
After speaking with a half-dozen solar companies, I chose RGS because they were the most helpful, the best educated, and the NICEST of all. And I'm glad I chose them. They were perfect in every way. When the city inspector demanded (arbitrary) changes to their conduit, RGS had it changed within 48 hours. They've answered all my questions promptly both before and after the sale.
The gentleman who sold us the solar system was very knowledgeable and genuinely cared about us. The team who installed our solar panels were friendly and very professional. Not only that, but they cleaned up so nicely after the job was completed. We were very pleased with their work and the solar energy production from our system.
From the time I signed up 3 years ago until today everything has been very good. The project manager was outstanding as was the installation. All great with them so far!
RGS solar system has performed exactly the way they said it would . I was very happy with the instillation and the crew that put it in, the only negative was the wait for my electric company to come out and ok the system, My electric bill went from $230.00 give or take to $0 to $30 . The system has been working for about 8 months and I could not be happier.
I had a very positive experience working with RGS Energy from design and engineering through installation. The installation crew was top-notch and very professional. The work was neat and clean and everything works as advertised.
