Very good can't wait to go back
This place unfortunately has not recovered since Covid. Before that, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had an early reservation this time and it wasn’t very busy yet. They stuck us in the back of the bar. Ok, we can handle that. Waitress takes our drink order and immediately thinks we’re ready to order. We just sat down! Ok, we’ll deal. Last night was a great first impression. I had Julia as a server and she was so nice! The food is really good and decently sized. I had the fried cheese curds and the Revery burger and normally I’m not a huge burger guy but I was surprised. Juicy, thick, and I probably would have switched the fries for more cheese curds. The aesthetic is very warm and I recommend coming after 7:30.
Food and atmosphere were great and clearly matches the price on the menu. As for the service it does not. We had a party of 9 that we made reservations for. Waitress brought our 7 year old son a drink in a Styrofoam cup but ignored our 2 year old with a glass cup. We had to ask twice for more straws for she dropped 5 off with our drinks. Food was decent, but definitely overpriced. But what mainly bothered me was the fact that the mashed potatoes are from instant/dehydrated potatoes. I should not be paying $30 a plate for dehydrated mashed potatoes. Thought the drinks were good an actually a good price.
