Amazing fried chicken. Hot, juicy, crispy and just down right tasty. The staff was friendly and food came quickly. We will definitely be going back!
Best BBQ in Portland, coming from someone from Texas (although it isn't Texas BBQ). Have not had anything that was not outstanding but the brisket is a must. The onion rings are also the best I've ever had.
The food was good and the portions good but I left wanting more. The sausage plate came out with each sausage marked with a different colored tooth pick but the server never said what they were. They also put the wrong sides on the wrong plates. Overall I will be back but probably not order the collard greens again.
Sauce was as hot as our waiter. And fried chicken was so good.
I love me some barbecue, but the sides are usually an afterthought. NOT at Reverend's. The polenta with cream corn and the beans were the best ever!! Oh, and did I mention the deviled eggs yet? Creamy, sweet and topped with brisket. Brisket and pulled pork were delicious, didn't require sauce, but the sauce was yummy too. We WILL be back!
