Over 40 minutes after my appointment started and still no doctor. Opened the door and everyone is just laughing and having a good time. Then still waited 15 more minutes for the doctor. Will not be back.
I'm writing this as a reminder that patients can be dealing with debilitating circumstances that prevent us from living our lives or making progress with our injuries and deserve to be given some empathy and respect. When I went in to see Dr. Taylor the other week, it was clear something was wrong from the beginning of our visit. Dr Hoopes is a busy doctor and has many patients. My wait times were never long and each technician was efficient and caring. He did surgery on a broken ankle bone and all seems well. Two year update. My ankle is still kind of purple and the metal plate aches. The doctor mentioned many get the metal removed later on. I think I will too.
