First off I only put a 1 star because it made me. **No wonder they are closing the Cardiology dept. I have been having heart issues and my doctor sent an order over to them to get a holter monitor on a Friday 11/07. I called them on Monday 11/10 and they said that my insurance needed a prior Auth. They said that they sent the prior auth on monday 11/10 and that they would call back. I called back on Tuesday 11/11 after not receiving a call back. Were good until they sold out. Almost all their doctors are leaving. Best part (sarcasm) is they didn't bother telling me; my great PA did.
I will NOT be returning here for cardiology in the future. I discussed medications and the side effects of why I HAD TO FOR SAVING MY LIFE?? STOP TAKING, Dr. Cragen or however it’s spelt then tried to prescribe me said medication. He did not prescribe it after I refused. However, it feels inconsiderate to push medication a person with an incurable chronic illness they’ve had since adolescence. I heard they maybe letting go some employees & doctors & moving things around. They closed the INR lab. If they let go of my cardiologists then I'll be without cardiac care. My heart is really bad& without care, I'll probably just have a heart attack or another stroke. I hope not. & I really hope they work out the problems at Revere Health cardiology in Provo. So patients like me won't lose their life while trying to find other doctors not tied to Revere Health care. It really sucks.
