At my first appt they tested me for over 70 different allergens, something a lot of allergist wouldn't do. Because I was allergic to almost all of them it started an allergic reaction that night where I was struggling to breathe. I started doing allergy shots, but the staff often seem bored or annoyed (some of them are great though). I love the Orem allergy and immunology site. They have an amazing staff. They are absolutely perfect with everything they do. They are genuine in all interactions and don’t get me started on Dr. Bale. Dr. Bale is really really amazing. He does his job. If I could put a 0 I would first off. Today my wife took our daughter in to see if she is allergic to the food we gave her. My wife took her medical equipment ie. Service animal with them. She was turned away do to having a service animal and told to leave the service animal at home. Dr. Burkhardt is more then happy to put people's lives in risk rather then follow ADA law and compliance. Giving excuses after excuses on why he didn't have to follow it. This office is the best Immunology and Allergy office I have ever been too! The staff does their very best to try and get the patients taken care of. My most recent appointment on the 25th of this month, I watched a family of 3 women, a mom and 2 daughters, verbally abues a receptionist who was doing their best to communicate that the first appointment for that specific Dr. Was a Telehealth appointment. I would look elsewhere. My one year old daughter’s appointment was at 11:00. We arrived early and got checked in. We were taken back to a room to wait and by 11:55 still had not been seen or even checked on. We decided to leave because she was getting restless and I too had lost my patience. It’s ridiculous that they send a text out saying that if I’m 15 minutes late, they may have to reschedule my appointment. Yet, I wait for 55 minutes past my appointment time and they offer me nothing for such poor service.
