In 1978, we planted 2000 pine trees on our farm in Elko, MN and weve planted thousands more every year since. In 1991, we opened our second farm on the frontage road of Interstate 35 in Lakeville. Planting, shearing, mowing, hoeing, fertilizing, irrigatinggrowing Christmas trees is a long process and labor intensive. It can take a small tree 8 to 10 years to grow big enough to sell for Christmas. It is a huge commitment of time and resources. I am extremely disappointed...our family took the day to drive out to the Lakeville farm to cut our own tree. Arrived and they told us we couldn't cut because they were so busy the last two days, and we needed to cut at their Elko Location. We drove there and we're sorely disappointed with the small, browning trees. It would have been nice to see your cutting hours on your website.
