It would be best to describe the nurse practitioner Edgar Camacho with 0 stars. He made me feel terrible for even scheduling an appointment with him. Interrogating me on why I was even referred to him. I explained that I've been in pain on my joints for years mostly my knees and hands. He refused to give me a CT for my knees and went sent for a CT of my right hand only. Even after I told him I have a degenerative disc disease. My Primary Care Physician referred me to Dr. Bromberg. First, when you call, the only option is to leave a voice message or text. No live person. Several days later, I finally got a text back asking what I’m being referred for. Then, several days after that, I’m finally told that the Dr. will not see me because: “there is no indication of any rheumatological condition that we would treat.” Lo and behold, my rheumatological condition is arthritis. I was referred to Dr. Bromberg’s office for an evaluation, as my PCP strongly recommended I see a rheumatologist. From the moment I walked in, I felt a genuine sense of good energy. The front desk staff and everyone I encountered were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service. My appointment was with Edgar Camacho, the nurse practitioner. After reading similar experiences, I can tell I’m not the only one. I called & the only option is to leave a voice mail message or to text the office. No live person. It’s been almost a week now and I’ve only received one text back. I have a serious chronic pain condition and I can’t sit around waiting until and if Dr. Bromberg’s office staff decides to answer me.
