This is a good little spot for some quality Italian food! Everything is well priced and fresh. Atmosphere is tight and bar-like but I guess that is 18th St generally.

We were visiting DC and stopped in on a whim while walking by. It was so worth it!! The atmosphere was upscale but cozy. We were seated on the upstairs platform, which got a little loud but was not unpleasant. Bruschetta to start (very fresh and homey), followed by Basil Fusilli (homemade pasta? Sauce was light and flavorful) and Pappardelle Beef Short Rib (again fresh pasta with a thick savory sauce & a fall off the bone short rib). Lava cake to finish off the evening- rich and delicious. A bit salty the lasagna, but delicious. Also the white house wine was good and I liked that we received a foccacia with olive oil as a starter from the house and it was very good 🤤
